ANNA LENORE HEADLEY CLARK
W.Va. resident was teacher, 4-H leader
Anna Lenore Headley Clark, 96, of Cameron R.D.5, W.Va., died Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Cameron Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 29, 1911, in Greene County, a daughter of Arthur and Florence Yates Headley.
Mrs. Clark was a member of First United Methodist Church, Cameron.
She attended West Liberty State College and taught at Kasooth School.
A 4-H leader for several years, she was retired from State Food Store, Cameron.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet Bishop of Heath, Ohio; a sister, Betty (Darell) Reed of Grove City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Doris Clark of Streets Boro, Ohio, and Shirley Clark of Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Herbert W. Clark; three sons, William, in infancy, Roger and Jack; a grandson, Stevie; a great-grandson, Charles; two sisters; and a brother.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Anderson Funeral Home, 39 Maple Avenue, Cameron, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, with the Rev. Beth Mencer officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Cameron.

F.M. DELFINE
U.S. Army vet, avid golfer was RCA plant employee
F.M. "Ferd" Delfine, 68, of Franklin Avenue, Canonsburg, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Canonsburg General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 18, 1939, in Canonsburg, a son of Michele and Giovana DiScuillo Delfine.
Mr. Delfine lived his entire life in Canonsburg, where he was a member and usher of St. Patrick Church and a member of Catholic Men's Club.
He was a 1957 Canonsburg High School graduate and served with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Delfine was employed with RCA plant for 25 years. Prior to his retirement in 1999, he worked for Canonsburg-Houston Joint Sewer Authority.
He was an avid golfer, bowled in City League and was a member of American Legion Post 253.
Mr. Delfine was the last of his immediate family.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three brothers, Vanderine "Van" Delfine, Marino Delfine and Joseph A. "Cokey" Delfine; six sisters, Yolanda "Yola" Dellorso, Jeanette "Jay" DeVitis, Jessie Pruce, Dora Kosharsky, Pearl Trubiana and Antonette "Toni" Hostinsky.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Salandra Funeral Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 3, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Canonsburg.
The Catholic Men's Club will hold a 7 p.m. service Wednesday in the funeral home. At the request of the deceased, memorial contributions should be made to St. Jude Hospital.

OTIS F. ESTANICH
WWII Army vet was Nemacolin Mine retiree
Otis F. Estanich, 89, of Carmichaels, formerly of Nemacolin, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, in his home.
He was born April 30, 1918, in Superior, a son of John and Frances Stajnrajh Estanich.
Mr. Estanich served in the U.S. Army during World War II and participated in Battle of the Bulge as a medic.
He retired from Nemacolin Mine as a motorman in 1985.
Mr. Estanich moved to Carmichaels in 2006 after residing in Nemacolin since 1943.
He was a member of United Mine Workers of America, Nemacolin Local 6290, American Legion Post 423 of Masontown and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4584 of Masontown.
Mr. Estanich served as a steward of Greene County Citizens Club.
On April 1, 1998, he married Jane Brown, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Anthony O. Estanich Sr. and wife Deenie of Kings Mills, Ohio, and Gary F. Estanich of Nemacolin; a daughter, Cynthia A. Estanich of Hartford, Conn.; three stepchildren, Yvonne Carpenter Phillips, Bill Cooper and Lonnie Cooper; five grandchildren, Anthony O. Estanich Jr., Michael C. Estanich, Alecia E. Richardson, Jillian M. Estanich and Jacqueline Carpenter; seven stepgrandchildren; two brothers, William Estanich and wife Gerry of Uniontown and Joseph Estanich and wife Anne of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his first wife, Margaret Dockmonovich Estanich; two daughters, who died in infancy, Karen and Elizabeth Estanich; a brother, Fred Estanich; and a sister, Bessie Zalar.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, with the Rev. Chuck Durso officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Leckrone, with military honors accorded by VFW Post 4584.

CHARLES E. FURMAN
Professor emeritus at the University of Minnesota
Charles E. (Chad) Furman, Ph.D., 53, of Minneapolis, Minn., died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in his home in Minneapolis.
Dr. Furman was director of music therapy program in University of Minnesota School of Music until his retirement in February 2006. He was professor emeritus at the university and also was affiliated with University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif., and Florida State University.
As consultant to various health-related agencies, he was a frequent lecturer at workshops and conferences throughout the country and internationally.
He served on the executive board, research committee and standards of practice committee of National Association for Music Therapy (now American Music Therapy Association).
His book, "Effectiveness of Music Therapy Procedures: Documentation of Research and Clinical Practice," published by AMTA, is widely used in music therapy programs and clinical sites through the world.
Deceased are his parents, John and Vivian Furman.
Surviving are children Megan of New York City, N.Y., and Charlie of Edina, Minn.; and a sister Marilee Furman-Lagas of Ellicott City, Md.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, in First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Avenue, South Minneapolis, MN 55408.
Memorials are recommended to a charity of one's choice or Florida State University School of Music.

Malisa Bell Hamilton, 90, of Jefferson, formerly of Rices Landing, died Monday, December 31, 2007, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.

ANNA K. INNIS HEATLEY
Washington resident was Hazel Atlas retiree
Anna K. Innis Heatley, 95, of Washington, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home, Washington.
She was born June 22, 1912, in Brownsville, a daughter of George and Mary Fedak Kurtinecz.
Mrs. Heatley was a packer/selector for Hazel Atlas, retiring after working 35 years.
Mrs. Heatley was Russian Orthodox.
She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home, playing cards and Dominos.
Mrs. Heatley was a member of Retired Person's Social Club.
She was married to William T. Innis, who died in 1973.
On February 20, 1947, she married James E. Heatley. They were together until his death August 18, 2006. They enjoyed traveling and visiting grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Regis A. Innis and wife Marlene Elco Innis of Washington; and three grandchildren, Chris, James and Rebecca.
Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Rebecca of Texas, Marisha and Janardan of Florida and Jamie and Alex of Maine.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Entombment will follow at 3:15 p.m. in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum, 498 Park Avenue, Washington, with James Dugan officiating.

MARY NAGLE
Bethel Park resident, homemaker
Mary Nagle, 74, of Bethel Park, died at 6:05 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in Meadow Crest Nursing Home, Bethel Park.
She was born December 22, 1933, in Duquesne.
Mrs. Nagle was a homemaker.
She was Catholic.
Her husband, James A. Nagle of Canonsburg, survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Virginia (Ginny) Sutton of Abingdon, Md.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Nagle-Ervin and Charles D. Ervin, both of Tiffin, Ohio; a granddaughter, Cicely McWilliams of Monessen and her stepmother, Carman McWilliams; and several cousins and nieces.
Deceased are a daughter, Caryn McWilliams; a brother, George "Judge" Chatlos; two sisters, Elizabeth Frelich and Irene Gay; and several other siblings.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services. Mrs. Nagle wished that her ashes be interned along side her daughter at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Salandra Funeral Services Inc., Canonsburg.

CARRIE LOUISE STAGGERS SIMPSON
Fairall U.M. Church member enjoyed sewing and quilting
Carrie Louise Staggers Simpson, 80, of Waynesburg, died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, following a brief illness.
She was born Saturday, June 4, 1927, in Whiteley Township, a daughter of Randolph and Flora Patterson Staggers.
She attended Fairall United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed working at festivals.
She was a member of Greene County Farm Women and Greene County Fox Chasers.
Mrs. Simpson enjoyed sewing, quilting, dog shows and taking rides in the car. She also enjoyed social gatherings.
She was a homemaker.
Her husband, John Albert Simpson, died May 31, 1969.
Surviving are three sons, John A. Jr. and wife Marie Simpson of Waynesburg, David M. and the late wife Clarketta O. Simpson of Dilliner and J. Randy and wife Sheri Simpson of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Robert A. and wife Gwen Simpson, Alberta Simpson, Vicki and husband Kirk McCartney, Wesley and wife Bianca Simpson, Lanfer Simpson, James Simpson and Amelia Simpson; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phoebe Eisiminger and Laura Meighen, both of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two half brothers, Hugh Staggers and Earl Staggers; and a grandson, Derick W. Simpson.
Her lifelong companion, J. Frank Higgins, died March 14, 1984.
