Loretta Bertovich

Loretta Bertovich, 67, of Avella, died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2010, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born June 6, 1942, in Avella, daughter of Frances Steklacic Cruny Peterson of Avella and the late Michael Cruny.
Mrs. Bertovich was a member of Avella Presbyterian Church.
On August 8, 1967, she married John Bertovich Sr., who died April 19, 1985.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her stepfather, Elmer Peterson of Avella; a daughter, Audra (Rudy) Bertovich Okavitch of Langeloth; two stepsons, Rodger Bertovich of North Carolina and John Bertovich of Avella; three grandchildren, Kelly, Johnathon and Chelsi; and two brothers, Michael (JoEllen) Cruny of Avella and Larry (Mary Ann) Peterson of Cecil.
Deceased, in addition to her father and husband, is a brother, Clarence M. Cruny.
A private committal service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Avella Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are being handled by Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., Avella.
