FRANK J. GAMBLE JR.

WWII Army veteran

was rural letter carrier

Frank J. "Bud" Gamble Jr., 89, of Palm Harbor, Fla., formerly of Oakdale, died Sunday, April 27, 2008.

Mr. Gamble was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a rural letter carrier and owned a small insurance company.

Surviving are his children, Susan Luginski of Imperial and Dr. Frank J. Gamble III of Rhode Island; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Gamble of North Carolina.

His wife of 55 years, Dorothy B. Gamble, is deceased.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, in Robinson Run Cemetery Chapel, McDonald. Memorial contributions may be made to The Foundation for IUP, Frank and Dorothy Gamble Memorial Scholarship Fund, G-30 Sutton Hall, 1011 S. Drive, Indiana, PA 15705. ROBERT JAMES LEHMAN

Member of River of Life Christian Fellowship

Robert James (Robby) Lehman, 30, of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008.

He was born July 3, 1977, in Johnstown, a son of Mark J. and Judith M. Boast Lehman of Ellsworth.

Mr. Lehman was a graduate of Bentworth High School and attended Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh.

He was a member of River of Life Christian Fellowship, Ellsworth.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two children, Alexis and Brayden Lehman, who live with their mother, Melinda Lehman of Washington; two brothers, Keith Lehman (wife Peggy) and Kevin Lehman, both of Ellsworth; paternal grandparents Alton and Elsie Lehman of Johnstown; a special aunt, Betty Kelly; special cousins Scott and Chrissy Kelly; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He also leaves a close friend, Heather Kolodeiej, and her son, Zach.

Deceased are his maternal grandparents, Earl and Betty Boast.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, May 16, in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), with the Rev. Paul Mitchell, pastor of River of Life Christian Fellowship, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of the family to Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home. ANGELINE B. MARK

St. Patrick's Church member enjoyed reading

Angeline B. Mark, 88, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born April 15, 1920, a daughter of Luigi and Pasqua Rose Bernabei Giamberdini.

Mrs. Mark was a graduate of Bridgeville High School.

She enjoyed reading, spending time in her yard and feeding the birds. Over the years, she enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. She was an avid Pirates baseball fan and also enjoyed Steelers football. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her great joy.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg for many years.

On October 25, 1941, she married Leonard A. Mark, who died May 3, 2000.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (husband Frank) Mauro of Niskayuna, N.Y., and Jeannine (husband Lee Delson) Mark of Boise, Idaho; a son, Leonard T. (wife Bridget Irene) Mark of Cecil Township; a brother, Ronald Giamberdini of Carnegie; seven grandchildren, Gina, Thomas, Ava, Shane, Hailey, James and Erin; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three sisters, Edith Leverotti, Carolyn Pagano and Rose Giamberdini; and a brother, Phillip Giamberdini.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Mario L. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 194 East College Street, Canonsburg, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17. Additional information was received for the obituary of William Thomas (Bill) Rodgers Jr., published Tuesday. Omitted were two surviving aunts, Deborah D. Brower of Vero Beach, Fla., and Maureen Brower of Merritt, Fla.; and a deceased uncle, William E. Brower.
