A complete obituary will be published in a later edition. *** MARY JANE CHEHOVIN BAILEY ASHBAUGH Active in women's clubs Mary Jane Chehovin Bailey Ashbaugh, 92, a resident of Upper Arlington, Ohio, for 38 years, died Monday, July 21, 2008, in Friendship Village of Dublin (Ohio). She was born August 27, 1915, in Washington, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Krashna Chehovin. Mrs. Ashbaugh was a member of Norwest Bells Bowling League, Norwester Women's Club since 1952, Thea Court 5 Ladies Oriental Shrine and Salvation Army Unit 7, an associate member of Women's Board of the Pilot Dog Inc., president of Arthritis Foundation Aids, Tri-Village Garden Club and Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, past president and member of Norwester Women's Bridge Club, and a life member of Lincoln Chapter 112 Order of the Eastern Star, Washington. Surviving are a stepson, Noel (Louise) Ashbaugh; stepgrandchildren Mark and Kurt Ashbaugh and Donna Bailey; a sister, Wilda (Robert) Morrison; a brother-in-law, Dale Campbell; five nieces; and three nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husbands, Walter Bailey and Raymond Ashbaugh; two brothers, Joseph and Rudolph Chehovin; a sister, Milena Campbell; and a stepson, Charles Bailey. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio. The family also will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services with the Rev. She was born July 17, 1916, in Colinsville, Conn., a daughter of Louis and Catherine Pencek Malinky. Mrs. Kleinotas was employed by Drug Fair of Alexandria, Va., for 28 years, retiring in 1985. She then returned to Avella, where she was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church. She was also a member of Women of the Moose Lodge 1262 and AARP. On January 20, 1946, she married Joseph Kleinotas. Surviving are two sisters, Casmeria Porfeli of Washington and Blanch Deco of Avella. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a a sister, Frances Doman; seven brothers, Thomas, Stanley, Walter, Michael, Steve and Alex Malinky and a brother who died in infancy. Craig, 85, of Washington, formerly of Venetia, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington. She was born April 12, 1923, in Rinard Mills, Ohio, a daughter of Wilburt and Reah Luddington Rinard. Mrs. Craig was a homemaker, family caregiver and a grandmother to many children not from her family. She enjoyed baby-sitting and baking. She was a member of Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, past president of Peters Township Woman's Club and a member of the former Century Club of Peters Township. She was married to Charles Denzil Craig, who died June 6, 1986. Surviving are a son, Darell L. Craig of Wilmington, Del.; two brothers, Paul and Walter Rinard; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Gilmer and Renee M. Gilmer, Michelle L. Cortazzo, Caitlin Jones and Abby Prior; seven great-grandchildren, J.D., Ashley and Nicole Gilmer, Cortney and Kelsey Cortazzo and Natalie and Adam Jones; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Sharleen A. Gilmer, and a sister, Ruth Able. She was born October 10, 1921, in West Alexander, a daughter of Talmage H. and Clara Lapping Marsh. Mrs. Falvo attended West Washington United Methodist Church. She was a 1939 graduate of West Alexander High School and attended Penn Commercial. Mrs. Falvo was employed in the office at O'Brien Steel Construction Co. for many years. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed needlework and spending the winters in Florida with her husband, until his death. On August 5, 1943, she married Louis Falvo, who died May 21, 2002. Surviving are a son, James L. (Donna) Falvo of Washington; four grandchildren, Lawrence R. (Rob) (Cris) Falvo of Lancaster, Ohio, Jamie L. Falvo (Benjamin) Thompson of Cary, N.C., Jason A. (Jamie) Falvo of Washington and Mark D. (Julia) Falvo of Washington; nine great-grandchildren, Haley Falvo, Gina Falvo, Cara Falvo, Tony Falvo, Walker Thompson, A.J. Falvo, Lauren Falvo, Caleb Falvo and Leah Falvo; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Lawrence R. Falvo; two brothers, Charles L. Marsh and Robert F. Marsh; and a sister, Ruth Denning.
