Elsie M. Knight
Elsie M. Knight, 92, of Waynesburg, died Friday, July 3, 2009, in Golden Living Center, Waynesburg.
She was born September 12, 1916, in Harveys, a daughter of Rex and Nannie McCoy Knight.
Miss Knight resided most of her life in Jackson Township, Greene County, where she raised chickens and sold eggs.
She was a member of Holbrook Christian Church, where she served as church pianist. She also was a member of Harveys Grange.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are two sisters, Hildred Stolze and Ferne Knight.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Private interment will be at Rosemont Cemetery in Rogersville. Arrangements are under the direction of Behm Funeral Home, 182 West High Street, Waynesburg. Visit www.behmfuneralhomes.net.
