Monessen fire being investigated

Firefighters work early Thursday at the scene of a fire in a vacant house in the 300 block of Oneida Street in Monessen. The fire call was received about 1:15 a.m., and firefighters from Monessen, Hilltop, Rostraver and Donora responded, along with the rapid intervention team from Lock 4, Monessen police and Mon Valley EMS. A state police fire marshal was called to investigate.
