Coneybeer – 65 years
Berhnard and Frances Coneybeer of Jefferson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a party for family and friends hosted at the home of their daughter, Judy Ann Coneybeer Zaremba. Mr. and Mrs. Coneybeer were married September 18, 1947, in First Baptist Church, Morgantown, W.Va. Their four children are Frances Coneybeer (David) Russell of Westbrook, Conn., Judy Coneybeer Zaremba of Washington, Berhnard (Denise) Coneybeer Jr. of Carmichaels and Jeffrey (Daneen) Coneybeer of Jefferson.Their grandchildren are Dan Coneybeer, Alan Coneybeer, John, Benjamin and Katie Russell, Tera Zaremba Clutter, Tatia Zaremba, Jeffrey Coneybeer Jr. and Emily Glover. They also have five great-grandchildren.Mr. Coneybeer was employed as a mine foreman with National Mines Corp., retiring from Isabella Mine. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philippine Islands and New Guinea from 1943 to 1946.Mrs. Coneybeer is an accomplished pianist and organist, having studied at Waynesburg College of Music. She also taught piano and has performed throughout her musical career.
