Dolores V. Johnston Dosse, 78, of Marcos Island, Fla., and Venetia, died Saturday, November 3, 2012.


She was born April 22, 1934, in Library, daughter of the late Agustus and Catherine Johnston.


Mrs. Dosse was the beloved wife of the late Victor Dosse; loving mother of Earl (Lori) Ducouer, Doreen Latona and Vickie (Jay) Rodenski; grandmother of Nicole and Jennifer Ducouer, Gina, Deanna and Karla Latona and Erika and Victor Rodenski; great-grandmother of Shaylee Dorsey, Brandin Latona, James Jaki and Niko DeFazio; sister of Jim (Dorothy) Johnston, and the late Elenora, Catherine, June, Lillian and Gus. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.


Funeral arrangements are by Beinhauer Funeral Home. Friends are welcome at Beinhauer Funearl Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, in Peters Creek United Presbyterian Church, Venetia. Interment will be in Finleyville Cemetery. Charles Donald Mitchell Sr.

Union heavy equipment operator/pipeliner retiree

Charles Donald Mitchell Sr., 83, of Somerset, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, in his home.


He was born June 12, 1929, in Center Township, Greene County, a son of the late Charles Wesley and Mary Fordyce Mitchell.


In addition to his parents, deceased are brothers Wesley, Melvin and Harold and a sister, Grace.


Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor Delorse Pollock, to whom he was married for 63 years; children Charles D. Mitchell Jr., married to the former Kathy Knepper of Somerset, Denver Snyder and husband Jeffrey of New Centerville, Cathy Lynn Doyle and husband Dennis of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandchildren Rebecca Hersh and husband Dennis, Charles Mitchell III and wife Kathy, Michael Mitchell and wife Nicole, Jessica Sanner and husband Bradley, Branden Snyder, Wesley Wray, Wilson Wray and Christian Doyle; and great-grandchildren Michael, Harlie, Kasie and Lucas.


Mr. Mitchell worked until his retirement as a union heavy equipment operator/pipeliner. He was a member of Local 66 Operators and Engineers, Somerset Sportsman’s Club and Roof Garden Christian Church.


Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Additional visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to the services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, in Roof Garden Christian Church, Somerset, with Roy A. Worsham officiating. George A. Morris

Joseph P. Yusko

Enjoyed spending time with daughter

Joseph P. “Joe” Yusko, 33, of Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Friday, November 2, 2012, in his home.


He was born July 14, 1979, in Washington, a son of Patricia L. Puskas Yusko of Marianna and the late John Yusko.


Mr. Yusko was a 1997 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.


He was Catholic.


Mr. Yusko worked for GMS Mine Repair at Bailey BMX Mine. He previously was employed by Golden Living Center, The Greenery Specialty Care and Blue Beacon Truck Wash.


He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mountain biking and spending time with his daughter, Izzy.


Surviving, in addition to his mother, are the love of his life and daughter, Isabella P. Yusko; a brother, Tim (Kim) Yusko of Scenery Hill; a sister, Suzanne (Shawn) Urcho of Bentleyville; four nephews, Hunter Yusko and Landon, Levi and Lucas Urcho; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.


Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, PA 15345, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, with Father Paul Grunebach officiating.
