Open doors, open minds
I am extending my gratitude to all those residents who opened their doors and minds to me as I canvassed Washington on behalf of President Obama.
I met so many interesting people from all walks of life. Many invited me in for tea or offered an umbrella or momentary shelter from the weather.
Not all residents supported the president, but most were gracious and engaged in conversation.
I enjoyed the variety of holiday decorations, landscaping and architecture as well as the people. Canvassing was a memorable experience. Thank you again.
