Disorderly, drunkenness charges: Kowan Scott, 21,of Easton, will be charged by California police with disorderly conduct and public intoxication after he was seen urinating on a building at 112 Second St. early Sunday, California police said.


Boy bitten by dog: Canonsburg police are looking for a dog that bit a 13 year-old boy in the left leg and ankle Monday. The boy’s mother, Amy Celento of 239 Vine St. reported the bite Tuesday and told police her son required nine stitches. The animal control officer is also investigating.


Assault charges: Travis Alexander Wolfe, 22, of 172 Prigg Road, Canton, was arraigned Friday on charges filed by state police in connection with an assault the previous day at his home. Wolfe is accused of assaulting Zachary Seibert, 21, also of 172 Prigg. When police arrived, they found Seibert staggering through a field wearing only pajama bottoms. He was flown to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of head and facial injuries. Wolfe was taken to Washington Hospital for an evaluation. Wolfe was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Theft report: Marcy Mattson, 39, and Heather Carpenter, 27, both of Washington, told state police a GPS device and a cellphone were stolen from their vehicles while they were parked at 240 Caldwell Ave. Monday night.


Men charged: Martin E. Doctorick, 59, of Monongahela, was charged with harassment by state police stemming from a Nov. 4 incident on Ernest Avenue, Fallowfield. He is accused of hitting Mark McFeely II, 18, of Charleroi, in the face because McFeely was allegedly speeding through the neighborhood. McFeely was charged with disorderly conduct and traffic violations.


Mail stolen: Vicki Shields of 240 Roosevelt St. told North Franklin police Nov. 8 that a dash camera was stolen from her mailbox. The post office confirmed the package had been delivered.

Underage drinking charge: A 17-year-old Amwell Township boy was charged with underage drinking by North Franklin police after he was found drinking from a cup with a soft drink and alcoholic beverage Nov. 8 at Washington Crown Center.

Room damaged: Vandals damaged a room Sunday at Days Inn, 1370 W. Chestnut St. North Franklin police said a lamp, hangers and closet door were damaged.

Harassment charge: Anthony Mark Butera, 37, of 54 Valley View Road, Washington, will be charged by North Franklin police with harassment after allegedly following Antonia Tarnik of Washington in the parking lot of Washington Crown Center Saturday. He allegedly yelled obscenities at her and at one point cut her off in her vehicle with his vehicle.

Disorderly charge: Kory Jo Thornburg, 22, of 145 Karen Drive, Buffalo Township, will be charged by North Franklin police with disorderly conduct after allegedly jumping on Nicole Shuba of Canton Township and pulling her hair during an incident Saturday at Gabby Inn, North Franklin police said.


Assault arrest: Bernard D. Mackow, 18, of 180 Latimer Ave., Strabane, was arrested Wednesday night by North Strabane police on charges of simple assault and harassment. Melanie Crouser, who told police she is Mackow’s common-law wife, said he elbowed her in the head because she refused to put his dinner plate in the sink. Mackow was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.


Two-car accident: Four women were injured in a two-car accident at 1:07 p.m. Monday in front of 3617 Washington Road, McMurray, township police said. Driver Katherine Jurkovski, 64, of 2030 Park Ave., Washington, was traveling north on Washington Road, and driver Ethan Coyle, 22, of 454 McClelland Road, North Strabane, was heading south when Coyle attempted to make a left turn into a car dealership and the two vehicles collided, police said. Coyle told police he was not injured. Jurkovski and three passengers, Mary E. Helicke of Washington, Tracey Holsopple of Houston and Margaret Yngst of Florida, were taken to Washington Hospital for treatment, police said.

Drug arrest: Thomas Anthony Dailey, 41, of 331 Ridge Point Circle, Bridgeville, will be charged by summons with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Valley Brook Road at 1:16 a.m. Wednesday, township police said. During the stop, police found drug paraphernalia on the driver’s door handle and Dailey admitted he had a small amount of marijuana in the car, police said. Inside the vehicle, police found four stamp bags with suspected heroin, two empty stamp bags, a small bag of marijuana and a glass pipe, police said.

Ladders stolen: Two aluminum ladders were stolen from a maintenance van owned by Quail Run Association, 1992 Quail Run Road, Venetia, township police said. The theft was reported at 4 p.m. Tuesday.


Assault report: City police are preparing to file assault charges against Jonathan Fristick Jr., 29, of 214 North Ave., Washington, over accusations he struck Jonathan Higgin, 31, of 562 Redd Run Road, Amwell Township, in the head about 9 p.m. Nov. 4 in the 200 block of South Main Street. Police said Higgin reported the assault Tuesday after being treated at a Pittsburgh hospital for a fractured skill and concussion.
