Rams Hall of Fame
Former students were recently inducted into the Ringgold Rams Club Hall of Fame Class of 2012. They are, seated, from left, retired U.S. Navy Capt. John E. Allen, Class of 1958; Jill Konton Spak, Class of 1991, a science teacher at North Allegheny Senior High School; Beth Dolinar, Class of 1977, producer for local progamming at WQED-TV and columnist for the Observer-Reporter; and Harry Sickels Jr., accepting on behalf of his father, Harry Sickels Sr., who was known as the “Grey Fox” for being a master strategist as a baseball manager and guided the Monongahela Pony All-Stars to the 1954 World Series championship; and standing, William Dixon, Class of 1966, retired in 1995 as a major with the Pennsylvania State Police and director of the Bureau of Laboratory and Communications Services; Tim Boyd, Class of 1978, a financial consultant for the McTique Financial Group in Chicago, specializing in retirement planning; David Solomon, Class of 1972, award-winning television journalist; Angelo Dabiero, Class of 1958, sales consultant for Riddell All-American Sports; and Bob Johnson, Class of 1960, retired general foreman with General Motors.
