James Trozzo of Stockdale recently received the Flag Award from the Sons of the American Revolution. The award, authorized in 1987 by the Society of SAR, is presented to individuals, companies and government agencies that fly the U.S. flag solely for patriotic purposes. Attending the presentation were, from left, Trozzo, Larry Ridgway, compatriot representative of the SAR, George Washington Chapter, Washington, and Cmdr. Dave Bilis and sergeant-at-arms Jack Gillon, both of American Legion Post 801, Roscoe.
