Civil Air Patrol honors veterans

Civil Air Patrol, Washington Squadron 601, is seeking Wreaths Across America sponsorships for the wreath ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.

The squadron will honor the entombed veterans Dec. 15 during Wreaths Across America Day. Wreath Across America’s mission to remember, honor and teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies on the second Saturday of December at Arlington, as well as veterans’ cemeteries and other locations throughout the country.

To sponsor a wreath, call Cadet Chief Master Sgt. Tiffany Trunk at 724 942-3475.
