A free hunters’ breakfast will be held from 4 to 7 a.m. Monday, the first day of deer season, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Rt. 18, South Franklin Township. Menu includes bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes, potatoes, toast and coffee.

Claysville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Christmas parade Dec. 1. Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Claysville Elementary School. Peters Creek Historical Society’s sixth annual candlelight soup and stroll will be held from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Wright House Museum of Western Expansion, Enoch Wright House, 815 Venetia Road, Venetia. An Elvis tribute show will be held at 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at Moose Lodge 22, 2021 W. Chestnut St., Washington. Cost is $15 . There will be a 50/50, Chinese auction, raffle and cash bar.
