Musical Mikes big weekend

The Musical Mikes of the Carmichaels Elementary School will perform at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Carmichaels town square during Carmichaels Chamber of Commerce Annual Light Up Night, and then proceed to Carmichaels Methodist Church where they will sing at the Extreme Christmas Tree Extravaganza. This event is a display of various themed Christmas Trees put together by local organizations that can be won by attendees.

On Sunday the Musical Mikes will give another performance at 2:30 p.m during their annual Christmas craft show. The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Carmichaels Elementary School gymnasium. Hot food and baked goods also will be offered for sale during the craft show that will feature 25 exhibitors, pictures with Santa and a clown doing face painting and balloon art.

The Musical Mikes sixth grade members displayed some of the crafts that will be available at a recent practice.
