Cheryl A. Day
She was born September 7, 1947, in Marlboro, Mass., a daughter of the late John and Edna L. Walcott Rodrigues.
Mrs. Day was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Fall River, Mass.
She was employed as a senior accounting clerk for Baker Mine Service in Waynesburg and at Eimco Coal Machinery Inc. in Fairmont, W.Va., until her retirement.
Mrs. Day loved to play golf and was a member of Greene County Country Club. She also loved going to Las Vegas with her family and friends.
On August 21, 1998, in Las Vegas, she married Thomas J. Day, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Deborah A. (John) Schuldes of Weaverville, N.C., Karen M. Culp of Bethel Park and Shorey (Jeff) Taylor and Carcy (Matt) Mossman, both of Dublin, Ohio; two sons, Don Culp of Beallsville and Tom (Michelle) Day of Washington; two brothers, John W. (Catherine) Rodrigues and Mark P. Rodrigues, both of Tiverton, R.I.; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her loving family and her many, many loving friends.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Those wishing to attend a celebration of her life will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 2, in Washington Elks Lodge 776, East Maiden Street, Washington. Services and burial will be at held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Donnell House in care of Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, or to a charity of one’s choice.
