The Mount Morris Water and Sewage Authority will be conducting a leak detection test on its water distribution system between 1 and 3 a.m. Friday. Customers may experience a drop or loss in water pressure during this time period. For more information, call 724-324-2186.

Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport Fire Hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Plumm Lost and Almost a Song. The event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

The youth group of the Clarksville Christian Church DOC, 330 Market St., Clarksville, will present a Christmas program during the 10:30 a.m. church service Sunday. Readings, Christmas carols, solos and a special Christmas selection by the Bell Choir will be featured. A “Birthday Party for Jesus” will be held in the social hall immediately following the program. Santa also is expected to make an appearance. Everyone is welcome to a pizza lunch and treats.

The children and youth of the Clarksville Missionary Church will present a pageant, “Christmastime,” at 6 p.m. Sunday. The program will include a musical and live Nativity. A cookie and punch reception will follow.
