Cooking club seeks guest chefs
Peters Township Public Library Cooking Club plans to introduce a “Taste the World” series in 2013.
Before launching the series, the library is looking for guest chefs to volunteer to prepare a dish or two from their heritage or family traditions for patrons during the cooking programs. Food expenses will be reimbursed. The club is looking for those knowledgeable about Asian, Greek, Mexican, Indian, Polish, Jewish, Spanish, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Caribbean and Russian food.
The cooking club welcomes suggestions for other countries to include in the series. Those who are interested should email email@example.com or sign up at the circulation desk. The club would like to begin the series in January.
