Waynesburg wrestlers win opener

ROGERSVILLE – Waynesburg won five bouts in the lightweights, including three by forfeit, and went on to defeat host West Greene 46-27 in a season-opening wrestling match.

In addition to the forfeits in the lightweights, Waynesburg received a pin from Austin Headlee at 113 pounds. Jake Cumberledge (182) also won by fall for Waynesburg.

Dalton Wildman (170) and heavyweight Trevor Bedilion each won by fall for West Greene, which outscored Waynesburg over the five upper weights.
