Three-vehicle crash: Patricia A. Wargo of Strabane suffered minor injuries about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in a chain-reaction collision eastbound on West Pike Street, township police said. The other drivers, Carl D. Rockey of Washington and Carol Rogers of Canonsburg, were not injured, police said.


DONORA

Prowling arrest: David Allen Hull, 19, of 539 Allen Ave., Donora, is charged by borough police with possessing instruments of a crime and loitering and prowling, court records show. Police said they apprehended him about 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Morse Alley with bolt cutters, tin snips and gloves, items that have been used in a rash of recent scrap thefts. He is in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.


FALLOWFIELD

Boys sickened by LSD: A Fallowfield Township adult is under investigation by state police over allegations he gave two 14-year-old boys six hits of LSD Wednesday in exchange for video gaming system. Police are planning to file a charge of corruption of minors against the suspect, whom they did not immediately identify. Both boys were taken to Mon Valley Hospital after taking the drug, and one of them was transferred to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, police said.


HANOVER

Man assaulted: Michelle A. Beyerbach, 36, of 178 Rock School Road in Hanover, is charged by state police with simple assault and harassment over accusations she bit, punched and kicked Brian Beyerbach about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday in her residence, court records show. She is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Ethan Ward.


MONONGAHELA

Man arrested: Howard Henninger, 52, of 130 E. Main St., Monongahela, is charged in a private criminal complaint with bad checks, accused of writing a check Aug. 10 to Kevin Savory in the amount of $1,387 on an bank account containing insufficient funds, court records show. He is free on $5,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
