Abundant Life Baptist Church, 269 Cameron Road, Washington, 7 p.m., “Carols and Candles.”


Amity United Methodist Church, 635 Amity Ridge Road, 5:30 p.m., candlelight and Communion service. The 7 p.m. service will be held at Liberty United Methodist Church.


Avery United Methodist Church, 1100 Gabby Ave., Washington, 7:30 p.m.


Bentleyville United Methodist Church, 712 Main St., 7 p.m., with a performance by the children of the church and the instrument ensemble. A special offering will be taken to benefit the Ellsworth Food Pantry and victims of Hurricane Sandy.


Bible Chapel, 3, 5 and 7 p.m. at the South Hills campus and 7 p.m. at the Robinson and Washington campuses and online. Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. at the Washington campus. Child care will be available for those 2 and younger for all services except the 7 p.m. South Hills service.

First United Presbyterian Church, 102 N. Main St., Houston, family worship service begins at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel, with a birthday party for baby Jesus. A cantata will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary and will feature the bell and chancel choirs. Communion will be celebrated at the 11 p.m. service.

Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, 605 Hewitt Ave., Washington, 11 p.m. Mass.


Immaculate Conception Parish of Washington, two Masses at 4 p.m, one in the church and the other in the church hall; 6 p.m. vigil in the church; 9 p.m. vigil at Sacred Heart in Claysville; and midnight Mass at the church.


Laboratory Presbyterian Church, 23 Manse St., Washington, 7 p.m.


Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington, 7 p.m. A 5:30 p.m. service will be held at Amity United Methodist Church.


Living Stone Community Church, North Avenue, lower level of Beth Israel Synagogue, Washington, 7 p.m., “Candlelight and Carols.”


Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Road, 5:30 p.m. candlelight liturgy with the children’s choir. At 7:30 p.m., the chancel choir will present “A Festival of Lessons and Carols” featuring “A Day for Dancing” by Lloyd Pfautsch. The choir will be accompanied by members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. “A Day for Dancing” will trace the story of the birth of Christ. Students from Pittsburgh’s Creative and Peforming Arts High School will offer interpretive dance during some of the movements. A traditional Christmas liturgy featuring the chancel choir, traditional carols and the lighting of candles will begin at 11 p.m.


North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 711 Rural Valley Road, 7 p.m.


North Ten Mile Baptist Church, 322 Ridge Church Road, Amity, 6 p.m.


Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 105 Gateshead Drive, McMurray, 2:30 p.m. Joyful Noise worship service. The service is for children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Children’s service will begin at 4:30 p.m. Holy Communion will be offered.


Park Avenue Baptist Church, 3750 Park Ave., Washington, 6 p.m.


Roscoe Presbyterian Church, 4 p.m. The congregation also will participate in the 7 p.m. nativity play service at First Presbyterian Church, 303 Fourth St., California.
