Fire destroyed a garage and the pickup truck inside Thursday on Willis Street in Bobtown. The Bobtown-Dunkard Township Volunteer Fire Co. was called at 12:54 p.m. Fire Chief Randy Pritchard said the building was engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived on scene. The fire also damaged two cars that were parked next to it and the siding on a nearby house. Pritchard referred questions regarding the cause of the fire and the name of the property owner to the state police fire marshal, who was called to investigate the blaze. The fire marshal could not be reached Thursday. The Greensboro-Monongahela Township Volunteer Fire Co. was called to assist. Photo courtesy of Denise Desmet
