The Thomas Hughes House Reading Center in Jefferson will be closed today due to staff illness. Items can be returned in the book return. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Mt. Morris Water and Sewage Authority will conduct a leak detection test on its water distribution system from 1 to 3 a.m. Jan. 11. Customers may experience a drop or loss in water pressure during this period of time.

Cornerstone Ministry Center in Jefferson is having a “Snow Camp Day” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 26 for kids in grades 6-12 at the camp. Cost is $7 and there will be a guest speaker, special music, lunch, snacks, sledding, snow tubing, snowman making contests and winter crafts. Bring warm clothes to play in the snow.
