Flenniken extends hours

CARMICHAELS – Flenniken Public Library will expand its Saturday hours beginning this Saturday.

The new schedule will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in order to provide increased access to library service in the community.

The library board will hold its annual organization meeting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library’s Blue Room, and the public is welcome to attend.

The Flenniken Book Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss “Cranford” by Elizabeth Gaskell. New members are welcome.

The 2013 library hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
