Nicole Batovsky and Ryan Stauffer were married December 15, 2012, in Mary Mother of the Church, with the Rev. Gerald Milkonis officiating the noon ceremony.


The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Ed and Charmaine Batovsky of East Millsboro.


Parents of the bridegroom are Ronnie and Marcia Stauffer of Marianna.


Lauren Poye of Bentleyville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Stauffer of Marianna, sister of the groom, Sarah Rabatin of Uniontown, Ashley Shetler of Perryopolis, Cristi Knopsnider of Mt. Pleasant, Mindy Mino of Pittsburgh and Kristy Filoni of California. Abbey Novotney, cousin of the groom, was flower girl.


Best man was Mikey Kasula of Bentleyville. Groomsmen were Danny Phillips of Stockdale, Kenny Marks of Uniontown, Josh Stepp of Waynesburg, Josh Hajduk of Centerville, Kane Sciascia of Beallsville and Jason White of Clarksville. Ushers were Brian Gaster of Hollidaysburg and Chad Novotney of Denbo, cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Jonny Batovsky, cousin of the bride.


Reader was Allison Kyle, and vocalist was Liz Davis.


A reception was held at St. Spyridons.


The new Mrs. Stauffer is a 2005 graduate of Geibel Catholic High School, a 2008 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 2010, she earned her MBA from California University. She is a certified public accountant at Houston & Associates LLC in Washington


Mr. Stauffer is a 2006 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and a 2010 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is a materials chemist at Ferro Corp. in Washington.


The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Disney World and make their home in Donora.
