Penn State Fayette to hold SAT prep courses

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is offering a five-week SAT preparation course for high school students. The course includes strategies and techniques for taking the test and a review of verbal and math concepts. Students also will work on how to tackle the essay portion of the test.

The course will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon on the following dates:

• Five Saturdays, Feb. 2 to March 2.

• Five Saturdays, March 16 to April 13.

• Five Saturdays, April 27 to May 25.

SAT test dates are March 9, May 4 and June 1.

The course costs $109 (the textbook is included) and will use the official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT. Anyone who has a copy of the text may deduct $20 from the fee. Tuition for individuals repeating the course for the second time is $69.
