Dena Catherine Riggi
Dena Catherine Riggi, 52, of Carmichaels, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
She was born July 16, 1960, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Goldie White Riggi.
She worked for Head Start for many years.
Ms. Riggi enjoyed cooking, midnight shopping trips, crafts and giving to others.
She especially loved spending time with the joy of her life, her grandson, Kayne, and a special sister, Tina Bug.
Also surviving are a daughter, Danielle Glaspie; a son, Philip Riggi; siblings Guy Riggi (Gloria), Rosalind Hopkins (Lewis) of Sewickley, Candice Riggi (Shawn), James Riggi (Barbara), John Riggi (Josie), Philip Riggi (Roxanne), Glenn Riggi (Connie) of Virginia Beach, Va., Debra Riggi and Tina Riggi; and several nieces and nephews.
A special friend, Harry Burrie, also survives.
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Vestaburg.
Ms. Riggi was a member of Greene County Democratic Women and East Franklin Grange.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Jacqueline Pratt.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday; 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday; and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of funeral services, Wednesday, January 16, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M.
