Burglary: According to police, someone forced open the front door at the Citgo/Greenwood Petroleum office on Smith Creek Road, opened a safe and stole the money inside it. The incident occurred between 5 p.m. Monday and 4:15 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information should call the Waynesburg barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police at 724-627-6151.
Vehicle accident: Anna M. Wilson, 66, of Spraggs, was injured Jan. 12 when the vehicle in which she was traveling failed to negotiate a left curve on Smith Creek Road and hit a mailbox, utility pole and tree, police said.
Terroristic threats: James Paul Yakubec, 37, of Morgantown, W.Va., is accused of pointing a gun Friday at Tammy Lynn Yakubec, 38, also of Morgantown, W.Va., during an argument at 128 Sigsbee Road., police said. James Paul Yakubec was arraigned before District Judge Glenn Bates and placed in the Greene County jail on $7,000 bond.
Theft: Marcy Linn Conklin, 35, of 197 Bench Ave., told police Damien L. Staley, 33, no address given, stole her computer and then returned it Jan. 1. Theft charges are being filed against Staley with District Judge David Marks.
Theft: A green cargo trailer was stolen at a well drilling site at 21216 Majorsville Road between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 12 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 13, police said. It has markings on its side of the Trumbull Corp., which is based on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. The trailer is about 25 feet long, and numerous tools were inside it.
