Alice B. Gregory Teprovich

Waynesburg resident, formerly of Sewickley

Alice B. Gregory Teprovich, 76, a Waynesburg resident since 2005 and fondly known as “Gran,” formerly of Sewickley, passed away in her home Thursday, January 17, 2013.

She was born October 1, 1936, in Hazelton, a daughter of the late Howard and Mabel Lilly Gregory.

On April 19, 1991, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years, Thomas J. Teprovich Jr.

She was the loving mother of Janice Zeleny (Gerard) of Waynesburg and Thomas John Teprovich III (Janine); cherished grandmother of Jonathan and Jason Zeleny; and sister of Jean Gregory of Hazelton and the late Mary Lou Sterenchock, Robert G. Gregory, Shirley Gregory, June Sypeck, Jane Seibert and Howard F. and John J. Gregory.

Mrs. Teprovich was a member of Grace Reformed Church in Hazelton. Her work career included employment at AT&T in Sewickley, and she was supervisor of Act Media in Aliquippa, co-owner of Jo-Al Promotions in Sewickley and worked in retail merchandising for Proctor & Gamble.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver Street, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 21, with the Rev. Thomas Petrosky officiating. Burial will follow in Sewickley Cemetery.
