Woman charged: Danica Jo Isenberg, 23, of 111 Bertram Ave., Bentleyville, was charged Monday with retail theft for allegedly stealing items from Family Dollar, 401 Washington St., Bentleyville, Jan. 8. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.


Disorderly charge: Christian T. Leonard, 21, of Scottdale, was charged by California police with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for allegedly urinating in public at Wood Street Bar, 135 Wood St., early Sunday, California police said.


LCE to be notified: Canonsburg police will notify the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement after being called early Monday to a disturbance at Canon Elks, 146 Murdock St. When police knocked on the door, police said someone inside yelled “5-0” and turned off the lights. Police said it was several minutes before anyone responded to the door.

Games stolen: Jean-Michael Bonner of 603 S. Central Ave. told Canonsburg police Sunday that two Xbox game systems, a controller and four games were stolen from his home.


Debit card stolen: Melissa Martin of 862 Vista Road told Chartiers police Thursday her debit card was stolen and used at two locations.


Harassment charges: Aleesha Rathway, 21, of Belle Vernon, and a 17-year-old Herminie girl each were charged with harassment by state police after the two reportedly got into a physical confrontation Friday night at 85 Ernest Ave., Fallowfield.

DUI charge: Igor Manokhin, 51, of Farmington, will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive at a safe speed stemming from a one-vehicle crash early Saturday on Old Route 71, Fallowfield, state police said.


Quick change artist: A customer at Taco Bell, 1340 W. Chestnut St., stole $54 in a quick change scam Friday, North Franklin police said. The suspect is black, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He pulled the scam while buying three tacos.

Rings stolen: Lee Long of 540 Franklin Terrace told North Franklin police earlier this month that four rings were stolen from her jewelry box.


Woman charged: Jessica Benning was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and various drug violations, including possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, after being found passed out in a parked vehicle with a hypodermic needle in her hand, township police said. Benning, 27, of Dairy Road, Charleroi, was found at 8:23 a.m. Sunday on Ridgeview Drive, police said. She passed a breath test but failed field sobriety tests, police said. Hypodermic needles were found in the console of her vehicle, along with a clear plastic bag with a white residue and a soft drink can with white residue, police said. When police found Benning, they said she was slumped over the wheel of her car with the engine running. Her foot was on the brake and the car was in park, police said. She was taken to Canonsburg General Hospital so that blood could be drawn for testing, and the white residue was sent to a laboratory, police said. Charges will be sent by summons through the mail.


One injured: Amanda Ross, 21, of 404 Old West Road, Bentleyville, was injured Thursday when the vehicle in which she was a passenger was hit from behind while stopped at a red light, South Strabane police said. Ross, who was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Ernest Ross, 43, also of 404 Old West. The drivers of the other vehicles involved in the chain-reaction crash were identified as Heidi Leep, 49, of 3 Stonehenge Drive, Washington, and Sandra Bartosh, 53, of 133 Floral Hill Drive, South Strabane. Police said Bartosh’s vehicle struck Leep’s car, which then hit the Ross vehicle.


Disorderly charge: A 14-year-old Union boy was charged with disorderly conduct after Southwest Regional police found drug paraphernalia while investigating an argument at his Rankintown Road home earlier this month.


Truck, money stolen: Harley Clement, 38, of 740 1/2 Donnan Ave., Washington, was placed in the Washington County jail on a probation detainer after he was accused of stealing a tri-axle truck and cashing checks owned by his girlfriend’s company Sunday. Bethany Bowman reported that he cashed the checks for $2,190 and used the company gas card. Police found the truck at the Red Roof Inn, Canton Township. Charges are pending against Clement for the thefts.

Faces charges: Anna Hart, 51, of 296 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, faces charges of driving under suspension and DUI after the pickup truck she was driving hit a parked van on East Prospect Sunday, Washington police said.

Two charged: Benjamin Giles, 28, and Brooke Faust, 26, both of 530 W. Chestnut St., will be charged with simple assault stemming from an incident Saturday at their home. Faust is accused of hitting Giles in the head with a decorative turtle, Washington police said. Giles is accused of knocking Faust to the ground and kicking her.

Cellphone stolen: Cathy O’Brien of 130 Maple Ave. told Washington police Friday her cellphone was stolen.
