Frances B. Galloway
He was born September 6, 1923, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Thomas and Mary J. Anderson Galloway, and had resided in the Greene County area all his life.
Mr. Galloway was a member of Harmony United Presbyterian Church in Wind Ridge.
He enjoyed collecting watches and storytelling.
On February 18, 1984, he married Patricia Ann Keller, who survives.
Also surviving are eight children, William Galloway of Clearwater, Fla., Terry Galloway of Washington, John Lavigne and William, husband of Susie Babcock, both of Waynesburg, Christine, wife of Dave Keller of Harrisburg, Penny Moon of Portland, Maine, and Gail, wife of Mark King, and Judy Babcock, both of Waynesburg; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a granddaughter, Brenda Patterson Durbin; three brothers, James, Julian “Jock” and Warren Galloway; and two sisters, Pearl McDonald and Virginia Myers.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the time of services, Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Rush Funeral Home Inc. Rogersville, with the Rev. Richard Thompson of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be private in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in memory of Mr. Galloway. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Funeral Home Inc., Rogersville.
