Concept Art Gallery in ittsburgh will present “The Eye’s Journey,” an exhibition of new drawings by Douglas Cooper Saturday through March 3.
Architecture, historical narrative and memory serve as the foundation of Cooper’s charcoal and graphite mural drawings. Pittsburgh, in particular, with its hills, rivers, bridges, city steps and ethnic neighborhoods has long been a muse of Cooper’s.
The gallery is located at 1031 S. Braddock Ave. Saturday’s event is from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.conceptgallery.com.
