Farm succession workshop planned

Passing on the Farm – Project Succession workshop will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 8 at King’s Restaurant, 206 Wilson Road, Bentleyville.

Certified financial planner Sean Reading will discuss “Farm Transfer Avenues from a Financial Perspective,” answer questions and offer free private consultations.

Darlene Livingston, executive director of Pennsylvania Farm Link and International Farm Succession, will discuss planning considerations and offer resources to help make the process easier. A free, individual farm succession facilitator followup will be offered to those who attend.
