Mary Alice Robison
Lifelong resident of Independence Twp.
Mary Alice Robison, 94, of Avella, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, in Evergreen Personal Care, Washington.
She was born February 4, 1918, in Independence Township, a daughter of the late Clyde H. Sr. and Myrtle McMurray Perrin.
Mrs. Robison was a 1937 graduate of Avella High School and was a lifelong resident of Independence Township.
She was a member of Avella Presbyterian Church and Cross Creek Valley Senior Citizens.
On February 3, 1939, she married Ernest Robison, who died September 4, 1988.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving Mrs. Robison are two daughters Frances (Richard) Shreve of Bellefonte and Mary Ann (Larry) Peterson of Cecil; three grandchildren, Timothy (Erin) Shreve, Jill (Tom) Hanson and Scott Peterson; and three great-grandchildren, Ian, Zoey and Zachary.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sisters, Margaret Rohr and Elizabeth Brautigam; and four brothers Samuel, Clyde, Robert and James Perrin.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella, PA 15312, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, with her nephew, James Perrin, officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Avella. Memorial contributions may be made to Avella Presbyterian Church.
