New principal at school where child was abducted
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The principal of a Philadelphia elementary school where a 5-year-old girl was abducted by a woman posing as her mother has been reassigned.
School district spokesman Fernando Gallard says a new principal, Michael Rosenberg, will start at the Bryant School on Tuesday. He’ll replace Roy McKinney, who will be reassigned. Gallard also says four school employees are being reviewed for possible discipline in the Jan. 14 incident.
A passerby found her early the next morning shivering and partially clothed on a playground about a mile away.
Police also announced Monday that they were looking for a third ‘person of interest’ in the case. Investigators are searching for a girl between the ages of 14 and 17 years old who called herself “China.”
