Elmer N. Morra Sr.
Elmer N. “Ducky” Morra Sr., 82, of Oakdale, North Fayette Township, died accidentally Saturday, January 26, 2013, while in Florida.
He was a heavy equipment operator, belonging to Operating Engineers Local 66, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.
Mr. Morra was a member of the Pittsburgh Scooter Club.
He was the beloved husband of Emily I. Grady Morra; dear father of Lisa M. Norton and late husband Joseph “Bud” of McDonald and Elmer N. “Ducky” Morra Jr. of Noblestown; brother of Arthur (Margaret) Morra and Edward (Joyce) Morra, all of Paris; grandfather of Elmer N. Morra III and Amanda Dawn Morra; and great-grandfather of Elijah Benjamin Morra.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, February 3, in Moody Funeral Home, Route 30, Clinton, where services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Memorials in his name may be made to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C., 20090-6231.
