Army veteran was a pilot

Wade Euston Chitty, 78, of Peters Township, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, January 21, 2013.

He was born October 11, 1934, in Brunswick, Ga., a son of the late Euston and Marie Chitty.

Mr. Chitty was proud to be known as a “pilot’s pilot.”

He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Shirley Edwards Chitty; loving father of Stephen Wade Chitty of Peters Township; and brother of Kay Chitty Wiggins, William Allen Chitty and the late Maurice Chitty and Christie Chitty Manry.

Mr. Chitty had an extreme passion for photography. He enjoyed to travel and loved to capture moments through his photographs.

He worked for H.K. Porter Co. for many years as a pilot.

Mr. Chitty was a veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard.

Friends and relatives are welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Cremation and Funeral Care by Danielle Andy Belusko, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-260-5546. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date in Christ Church, St. Simons Island, Ga.
