Frank E. Fox, 89, of Peters Township, formerly of Chippewa Township, Beaver Falls, died Thursday, January 31, 2013, in his home in McMurray.


He was born October 19, 1923, in Cuddy, a son of the late James and Lela Eadie Fox.


Mr. Fox retired from Babcock and Wilcox Co. in 1985 with 43 1/2 years of service as an electrician.


He was a member of Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls, Parian Lodge No. 662, New Castle Consistory Scottish Rite, AASR and the Consistory Legion of Honor and was a life member of the Beaver Falls Club of Retired Persons and treasurer of its golf league.


Mr. Fox was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a chief petty officer in the South Pacific.


Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Doris Earle Fox; a daughter and son-in-law, Carole E. and Joel Beltz of McMurray; a son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Elizabeth Marko Fox of Torrance, Calif.; four grandchildren, Derek and Julie Beltz, Lindsey Beltz King and Matthew Fox; and a sister, Leila Barkley of Illinois.


Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Catherine Marshall.


Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, February 5, in Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, with the Rev. Kim Rapczak, pastor of Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating. There will be a Masonic service conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Full military honors will be conducted by the Beaver County Special Unit at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Private interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 409 11th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
