Cal’s Miles invited to NFL combine
California University defensive back Rontez Miles has been invited to participate in the NFL draft combine next month in Indianapolis.
Miles’ invitation marks the third consecutive year a former Vulcans star has been invited to participate in the combine, which features the top players available in that year’s NFL draft. Offensive lineman Rishawn Johnson was invited in 2012, while quarterback Josh Portis went to the combine in 2011.
Both signed as undrafted free agents with the Seattle Seahawks.
