Jefferson Township Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the White Church, Eldersville. “Going Back Home” will be the theme of the meeting. Members of the board will show a picture of the house where they grew up and discuss its location. Audience participation also is encouraged, and nonmembers are welcome.

Spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 775 N. Main St., Washington. Note the date change. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $3 for 4- to 12-year-olds. Children younger than 4 eat free. Benefit spaghetti dinner for Justin Matthew Spine, 23, who was injured in a motorcycle accident in Waynesburg, will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. There will be music, entertainment and tickets for auctions. Spine suffered traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures and has been unable to work. Proceeds will help offset his medical bills. Those who are unable to attend but would like to make a monetary donation can make checks payable to Liberty U.M. Church and designate them for Justin Spine.
