Elderly woman killed in home
BEAVERTOWN (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania say they have a person in custody in connection with the homicide of an elderly woman over the weekend.
State police in Snyder County say 71-year-old Bonnie Jean Snook was killed at about 4 a.m. Sunday in her Beaver Township home.
Investigators have declined to say how Snook died but called it a homicide and said a person of interest is in custody on a parole violation.
Investigators told WNEP-TV that the victim’s husband was listed in serious condition at Geisinger Medical Center.
