Vocational seminar on faith scheduled

WAYNESBURG – Waynesburg University will host Doug Lee, Warner Workman Jr. and Ryan Devlin as part of the “Ignite Passion for Your Career” vocational seminar to be held at 7 p.m. today in Alumni Hall. Admission is free, and the public is invited.

The seminar encourages the incorporation of faith into the workspace and aims to inspire others to glorify God through their career choices. Lee, the executive vice president of institutional advancement and Waynesburg University president elect, will present a “Christian Perspective on Occupation.”

Workman, retired from a 27-year career with the CIA, will speak about “Using God’s Gifts.”

Devlin, a Waynesburg University alumnus and 2013 Pennsylvania teacher of the year, will address “Creativity in the Workplace.”

A meet and greet with refreshments will follow the seminar.
