Gayle H. Warner, 52, of Washington, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 24, 2013, in his home, with his family by his side.

He was born May 3, 1960, in Washington, a son of Shirley Warner Richards and the late George Warner.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his beloved wife, Belinda Sprowls Warner of Washington; children Danyelle Levy (Will), Erika Warner, Ami Behrens (Brandon), Kelli Lewis (Ed) and Meghan Warner, all of Washington; brother Michael Warner of Pittsburgh; sisters Shawn Williams (Glenn) of Pittsburgh, Stephanie Anderson of Columbia, Md., Margaret Prater, Carol Walker, Georgeann Walker and Roberta Gaberial, all of Ohio, Barbara Odom and Glenda Hughes, both of Erie, Sydney Cochran of Chicago, Ill., and Melva Brown of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Deceased, in addition to his father, are brothers George Warner Jr. and Daniel Hardin Warner; stepdad Melvin Richards; and sister Florence Walker.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, February 27, in St. Paul AME Church, 16 Ridge Avenue, Washington. Lantz Funeral Home, 121 Ridge Avenue, Washington, is handling arrangements.
