Washington Community Theatre Inc. is conducting a countywide membership drive.

The organization’s mission is to provide the community with the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the theater and to present quality theatrical entertainment.

This year, the organization will stage two major productions: the Broadway musical “Brigadoon” at Washington Park in June and “Happy Holidaze,” a musical journey through the 12 months of the year, at Julian’s in November.

Individual memberships are $15 and family memberships are $25. Applications can be obtained online at or at Citizens Library in Washington, Chartiers-Houston Community Library in Houston and the Frank Sarris Public Library in Canonsburg.
