No injuries: No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 79, state police said. Steven Martonosi, 48, of Mannington, W.Va., lost control of his vehicle in the rain. The vehicle spun and struck a guardrail.
Theft: Eight batteries were stolen from equipment owned by PA Energy Service Co. at 3138 Mt. Morris Road between 8 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.
Theft: Building materials and a ladder were stolen between Jan. 7 and Jan. 13 from a home on Renner Creek Road owned by Patrick K. Spinneweber of New Freeport, state police said.
