‘Fantasticks’ at Cal U.
California University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Theatre and Dance will open its 2013 spring season with “The Fantasticks.” With music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, the show explores the relationship between parents and children. Rehearsing a scene from the “Fantasticks” are Jason Capello, who portrays Hucklebee, left, and Trevon Kiser, who plays Bellomy. Other cast members are Jordan Brooks, Jason Dohoda, Christina King, Stephen Reedy, Clayton Rush and Zach Thomas. Show times are 8 p.m. March 7 and 8 and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. March 9. All performances are in the Gerald and Carolyn Blaney Theatre in Steele Hall. Tickets are $12. Students with valid CalCards are admitted free. For tickets or more information, call 724-938-5943.
