Numerous people appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Stephen W. Crowe, 27, of 4 Short St., Daisytown; simple possession, drug paraphernalia; charged June 13 during a traffic stop on Maple and State streets, Speers Borough; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Sara E. Waters, 30, of 34 Madison Ave., Apt. C, Greensburg; three counts of retail theft, defiant trespass; charged on Nov. 17, Dec. 15 and Dec. 20 with retail theft at the Trinity Point Walmart after she given a no trespass notice by the retailer in 2009; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, 12 months of probation.
Angelina Doswell, 44, of 40 E. Prospect Ave., Washington; simple possession; charged after she was found with drug paraphernalia Sept. 27 at Walnut and Franklin streets in Washington; sentence – 6 months of probation.
Dillon C. Fritz, 19, of 3124 Ridgeway Drive, South Park; possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license; charged Sept. 28 following a traffic stop on N. Washington and Davis School roads in South Strabane Township; sentence – 12 months of probation, $200 fine.
Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:
Tara H. Konjolka-Brown, 44, of 439 Greene St., Brownsville; two counts of retail theft, receiving stolen property; charged for stealing merchandise Aug. 22 from various stores at the Tanger Outlets in South Strabane Township; sentence – 24 months of probation.
Richard D. Brown, 41, of 164 Jollick Manor, Washington; second offense of DUI, careless driving; charged April 6 during a traffic stop on I-70 exit 20 off-rampwith a blood alcohol content of 0.165 percent; sentence – 30 days to 6 months in jail, 12-month license suspension, $850 fine.
Joshua L. White, 26, of 47 Garner Ave., Fredericktown; possession with intent to deliver; charged Sept. 24 following a police search at this residence; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail.
Lawrence D. Davis Jr. 42, of 6202 Pleasant St., South Park; second offense of DUI; charged Oct. 7 following a one-vehicle crash at Vanceville Road near Wherry Road in Somerset Township with a BAC of 0.269 percent; sentence – 90 days to 12 months jail, $1,500 fine, 18-month license suspension.
Several people were admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first-time offenders. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their record expunged.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle was:
Leslie A. Decker, 28, of 46 Highland Ave., Avella, was admitted for 24 months and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service for insurance fraud. She was charged for filing a fraudulent insurance claim in December 2011 after hitting a deer with her vehicle
Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery was:
Leann Sachek, 45, of 236 Richey St., Richeyville, was admitted for 12 months for procuring a prescription by fraud and forgery. She was charged Oct. 31 for using a forged prescription to obtain oxycodone from a Canonsburg pharmacy.
Appearing before Judge Edward Borkowski was:
Shannon R. Burzese, 34, of 706 C. McKnight Circle, Pittsburgh, was admitted for 12 month for retail theft. She was charged for stealing merchandise Nov. 29 from the Trinity Point Walmart in South Strabane Township.
