Donald W. “Dub” Sprowls will celebrate his 95th birthday.
He was born March 22, 1918, a son of Vaughn and Della Sprowls.
In 1935, he married Una E. Clemens, who is deceased.
He has three daughters, Jean Stout, Marlene Durig and Phyllis Sprowls; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sprowls retired from CSX, formerly B&O Railroad, with 42 years of service. He was an active hunter and traveled to all 50 states and abroad. He enjoyed golfing as long as his health permitted.
Mr. Sprowls was a longtime resident of Claysville and resides at Humbert Lane Nursing & Rehabilitation in Washington.
