Heroin charges: Angela Hollman, 37, of 200 Alexander Ave., Strabane, was arraigned before District Judge David Mark Tuesday on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and conspiracy stemming from a Feb. 22 traffic stop on Euclid Avenue, Canonsburg police said. Police said Hollman was with her husband, Jason Hollman, and an acquaintance, Damen Gamble, when they returned from Pittsburgh with the suspected drug. Hollman’s husband and Gamble are awaiting trial after being charged at the time. Angela Hollman was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
Woman charged: Shaniece Roniko Fisher was placed in the Washington County jail on $2,500 bond after being arrested by California police on several charges stemming from an incident at 1:36 a.m. Thursday at Second and Ash streets, according to an affidavit filed in the office of District Judge James Ellis. Fisher, 21, of 17 Minooka St., Pittsburgh, was part of a group of women who left McMonagles tavern after a friend of the group was removed from the premises, borough police said. The group walked along Second Street, and police said they were loud and were using profanity. When the women arrived at Ash Street, police told the group to be quiet. However, police said, Fisher continued to be loud and was arrested. When police attempted to place handcuffs on her, she ran and resisted arrest, police said. She was tripped to the ground by an officer but rolled onto her back and kicked an officer twice above his right knee, police said. At the police station, she allegedly gave a false name and refused to give her date of birth. Fisher was later identified by California University of Pennsylvania police. She was arraigned before Ellis at 4 a.m. Thursday, charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, providing false identification, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Drug charges: Michael Bakerjian was charged with drug violations following a traffic stop at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday, according to an affidavit filed in the office of District Judge James Ellis. Bakerjian, 31, of 29 Hickle St., Uniontown, was stopped by RESA police at the bottom of Elco Hill, and an open shoebox on the passenger side was found with open baggies of suspected marijuana, police said. When police searched Bakerjian, officers said they found another bag filled with four individually wrapped bags of suspected marijuana. At the police station, officers said, four additional bags of suspected marijuana were found in Bakerjian’s underwear. Bakerjian was arraigned before Ellis, charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and driving on a license that was suspended for a previous conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $2,500 bond.
Drug arrest: John S. Greyshock, 45, of 568 Park Way, Monongahela, is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with a search warrant served on his residence by city police about 2 a.m. Wednesday, court records show. Greyshock is in the Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Driver charged: Tiffany M. Merolillo, 20, of Pittsburgh, is charged by city police with possession of drug paraphernalia, false reports to police and purchase of alcohol as a minor, court records show. Police said they found syringes and a bottle of alcohol in her vehicle when it was stopped about 7 p.m. March 16 on Country Club Road after she allegedly left the scene of an accident on the Monongahela Bridge in Forward Township, the affidavit shows. She is free on $5,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Paraphernalia, disorderly charges: Brandon Scott Baumgardner, 40, of Langeloth, was charged Wednesday by state police at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after he allegedly was found with suspected paraphernalia after leaving a men’s room Feb. 19. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Faces charges: Pamela M. Rogers, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va., was charged Wednesday by state police at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after she allegedly was found with a corner from a plastic bag containing suspected cocaine residue while in a poker room Jan. 13. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Charged in theft: Ralph M. Shahan, 65, of Morgantown, W.Va., was charged Wednesday by state police at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino with theft of lost property after he allegedly picked up six $100 bills a woman dropped on the casino floor Feb. 14 and left the casino. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
DUI charge: Micaiah James Doyle, 25, of 232 Crescent Drive, Canton Township, was charged Thursday by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and other traffic violations after he allegedly crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 south at Racetrack Road, North Strabane, on Dec. 25. His blood-alcohol content was almost double the 0.08 percent limit presumed for intoxication, police said. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Harassment charge: Mildred L. Schiffer, 52, of 10 Loop St., Monongahela, was charged Thursday by North Strabane police with two counts of harassment for allegedly sending Kim Boyd of North Strabane text messages and filing a false complaint against Boyd with her employer in December. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Theft of money: Patrick E. Franklin, 34, of Pittsburgh, was charged by state police at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino with theft of lost property after he reportedly picked up a $100 bill dropped on the casino floor by another patron March 25. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Wrecked car found: State police are looking for information about the driver of a silver 1998 Mercury Tracer found crashed Wednesday on Chippewa Road near Bigler Road, Somerset. Police believe the driver may have been helped by a passing motorist. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Rig crashes: Musah Samba, 35, of Immukalec, Fla., and passenger Mark Buckingham, 57, of Harrah, Okla., were injured about 3:25 a.m. Thursday when their rig hit a jersey barrier at the south junction of Interstates 70 and 79, South Strabane, and flipped onto its driver’s side. The rig had been going from I-79 north to I-70 west.
Driver injured: Aaron M. Gale, 48, of Morgantown, W.Va., was injured Wednesday morning when his vehicle and a car driven by Estie Carlson, 26, of Washington, collided at the north junction of Interstates 79 and 70, South Strabane, state police said.
Retail theft charge: Marc A. Scarceli, 24, of 98 Hart St., Houston, was charged Thursday by South Strabane police with retail theft after he allegedly stole eight items valued at $179.68 from Walmart, Trinity Point. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
