Laura Paterra and Matthew Barletta were united in marriage August 25, 2012, in Duquesne University Chapel with the Rev. Ray French and the Rev. John Batykefer as co-celebrants officiating the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Anthony and Janice Paterra of Bridgeville. Her grandparents are the late Emidio and Rosanna Paterra and the late Robert and Libby Mitchell.
Parents of the bridegroom are David and Janet Barletta of Aliquippa. His grandparents are Louis Barletta, the late Ann Barletta and the late Richard and Lillie Cosgrove.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Sara Barbisch served as matron of honor and Brittany Mulgrew was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Paterra, sister-in-law of the bride, Alison Ogurchak, Colleen Gigliotti and Jennifer Barletta, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Lily Barbisch and Nora Provenzano.
Best man was Kevin Barletta, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Paterra and Tony Paterra, brothers of the bride, Brant Barletta, cousin of the groom, Pete Rivetti and Joe Mahoney. Ring bearer was Jackson Hardcastle, cousin of the groom.
Readers were Ralph Gigliotti, April Paterra, aunt of bride, and Brenda Cosgrove, aunt of the groom.
Vocalists were Rosanna Paterra and Rocky Paterra, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held in the ballroom at Duquesne Power Center.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and a 2007 graduate of Duquesne University, where she studied business and marketing. She is an agency career track specialist at State Farm Insurance, Southpointe.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Hopewell High School and a 2010 graduate of Duquesne University’s Mylan School of Pharmacy. He is a clinical pharmacist at Accredo Health Group Inc. in Warrendale.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Aruba.
